Frequently Asked Questions

We hope the answers to some of these frequently asked questions may help you decide to choose RHYNO as your preferred caravan manoeuvring device.

Will the Rhyno fit my caravan?

The Rhyno is designed in such a way that it will fit 98% of all British style caravans and most of the European styles too.

Will you have to modify my caravan in any way to make it fit?

No, in all cases the Rhyno Mover is fitted to your existing chassis using a Rhyno clamping system, in rare cases we have an auxiliary fixing kit which can be used to allow us to fit "non" standard caravans and camping trailers.

What type of battery do I need?

An 85amp/hr leisure battery as the minimum requirement, However a 110amp/hr leisure lead acid type battery is the best option. In either case the battery must be in good condition and fully charged to give the best in performance.

How much extra weight does the Rhyno Mover add to my caravan?

Overall, it will add 29 kilos. The design has incorporated many features which are focused on reducing the burden of carrying a mover and compared to many other heavier movers on the market today Rhyno is by far the lightest.

Does the Rhyno come with a warranty?

The Rhyno is fully guaranteed for 5 yrs.

How long does it take to fit?

Allow up to 2 hours for fitting, although most home fits are easily completed in much less time than this.

Can I move my Rhyno Mover from my existing caravan to another?

Yes.

How fast does it move?

The Rhyno will move any caravan at just less than walking speed... what's the rush?

Will the Mover be able to cope with a steep incline?

Depending on the incline itself and the combined weight and loading of the caravan the Rhyno Mover will tackle most inclines with relative ease.

Where is the Rhyno Mover made?

We are proud to be the only manufacturer and supplier of the Rhyno Caravan Mover and can boast that it is the ONLY totally BRITISH made Caravan Mover on the market today. All the components used in the manufacture of Rhyno are sourced in the UK supporting British jobs and British business.

Does it have a softer start?

Yes, it has a feature that enables the user to control very closely the start of the mover and it will move off gently and softly and yes it does help save the crockery!
